A choice land in the heart of lekki, residential: within the secured ambiance of atlantic view estate. suitable for investors, individuals, corporate developers, and entrepreneurs. beautiful view and neighborhood. atlantic view estate is located along alpha beach road, just before chevron on the lekki-epe expressway. it overlooks the atlantic ocean, and it covers a total area of about 15 hectares with about 70% of the land area developed. land within the estate was sold for as little as ₦200,000 during the early 2000s and sold for about ₦4 million in 2009, but prices have since skyrocketed.
atlantic view estate is not a serviced estate, it is a gated neighbourhood where the residents came together to provide infrastructure & facilities like an entrance gate, security, waste management etc, and also contribute towards maintenance. the estate has good infrastructure, particularly well-paved roads, good drainage system, street lights and electricity. the ex-governor of lagos state babatunde fashola took a keen interest in developing quality infrastructure in the estate. its electricity distribution is very good and the lagos state government maintains generators that power the street lights. notwithstanding, the estate is known to have experienced flooding when there were ocean surges of the atlantic. one of the most recent cases being in 2014. however, the government has since begun the construction of wave breakers (great wall of lagos) to prevent a possible recurrence.
non-residents are not allowed entry into the estate and are required to call their host before being allowed entry. the estate has a resident association in charge of its management, resident pay service charge fees of ₦6,000 monthly for security, environmental services and for the presence of armed police men
houses in the estate are varied, they are mainly duplexes and a few block of flats. click on the link for virtual tour https://app.lapentor.com/sphere/atlantic-view-estat...

About Lekki, Lagos
Lekki is a city located in the eastern part of Lagos. Lekki is a naturally formed peninsula, adjoining to its west Victoria Island and Ikoyi districts of Lagos, with the Atlantic Ocean to its south, Lagos Lagoon to the north, and Lekki Lagoon to its east; however, the city's southeast which ends at around the western edge of Refuge Island, adjoins the eastern part of Ibeju-Lekki LGA.
The peninsula is approximately 70 to 80km long, with an average width of 10km. Lekki currently houses several Estates, gated residential developments, agricultural farmlands, areas allocated for a Free Trade Zone, with an airport, and a sea port under construction. The proposed land use master plan for the Lekki envisages the Peninsula as a "Blue-Green Environment City", expected to accommodate well over 3.4 million residential population and an additional non-residential population of at least 1.9 million.
