Joint Venture Tank Farms in Ideato South, Imo

Ideato South is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Imo state, Nigeria. It has its capital/headquarters in Dikenafai. There are twenty two (22) autonomous communities in Ideato-South LGA which are: Dikenafai, Umuma-Isiaku, Amanator, Isiekenesi, Umueshi, Umuchima, Ogboko, Ugbelle, Obohia, Umulewe, Ntueke, Ogwuma, Dimagu, Okohia, Umuaghobe, Nneat-Ogwugwu, Umuobom, Umuezedike, Umuakam, Umuago, Umucheke, Umuahurunwa. The people of this L.G.A are characterized by their hardwork in Agriculture, crafts and workmanship.

The Ideato South depends mainly on agriculture and commerce and the main occupation of the people is farming and trading. Orashi River takes off from Ezeama community in Dikenafai. Described as a lifeline to Ideato South communities, Orashi stream serves as an all purpose river for drinking, washing and many other purposes to communities such as Umulewe, Umuezealla-Ogboko, Umuchima and Ntueke. Religion occupies a central place in the heart of the people. The people are mostly Christians of different denominations.
