Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi pledged to work together to restore production activities at the Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC operated Obigbo Gas Plant.

The Oyigbo (Obigbo) tribe are of Igbo origin. Towns and villages in this area include: Izuoma, KomKom, Obeama, Afam, Mirinwanyi, Egberu, Ndoki, Umuagbai.
