Mushin is a Local Government Area located in Lagos state, Nigeria. This area is characterised largely as a congested residential area with inadequate sanitation and low-quality housing. Mushin is considered part of Lagos Metropolitan Area.

Mushin is bound to the north - Oshodi/Apapa expressway from Oshodi to flyover leading to international airport to Oshodi exit into Agege motor road, to the south - Surulere Local Government ata the other side of Bishop Street to include Akobi crescent, LUTH, Idi-Araba communities, to the east - Agege motor road from Oshodi to Bishop street, to the west - Oshodi/Apapa expressway to Itire junction to include Itire-Ijesha communities in former Mushin Local Government
