Alimosho is a Local Government Area in Lagos State that is close to the Ikeja district. Egbeda, Ejigbo, Akowonjo, and Iyana Ipaja are some of the most popular destinations in the LGA.

After the war, Alimosho was established as part of the (then) Western region. The Egbados constitute the majority of the community's population.
