Incorporated, under the Companies & Allied Matters Act, with Registration number No: 7020587, the company has since emerged as a strong, reliable entity of innovation, taking on projects, gaining invaluable experience, earning clients trust, and remaining true to its mission. In Nigeria and indeed, Africa today, one of the major socio- economic challenges bedeviling the society is the issue of housing deficit, as over 70% of the over 200million Nigerian population lack access to quality housing. As of 2023, the housing deficit stands at 28 million units, requiring an estimated 21 trillion Naira to rectify the situation. According to The Centre for Affordable Housing in Africa (CAHF), a significant concern is the high percentage (58.8%) of the urban population living in slums, indicating a substantial demand for affordable housing with basic infrastructure. This is in the midst of fast-growing population, rapid urbanization, rural urban migration and economic instability. This sad development is of serious concern to us at Afri Shelters since, Shelter is one of the cardinal needs of man, as such, we believe every individual, family or corporate organization should own a home. Hence, being in business, Afri Shelters is therefore focused on bridging this wide gap of housing deficit by constantly proving germane real estate investment opportunities that can enhance access to quality shelter in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, and other part of Nigeria and Africa at large.
