Sapele is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Delta state, Nigeria. Its headquarters/capital is located in Sapele (a cosmopolitan town and an important sea port for trade in timber related products). The business is heavily influenced by the African Timber and Plywood Company established by the Miller Brothers at Sapele in 1935. The town also serves as a base for the Nigerian Navy.
