About Ukanafun, Nigeria
Ukanafun is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria. Ukanafun Local Government occupies the Eastern Niger Delta fringes and is drained by Qua Iboe River. It is bound by Etim Ekpo in the East and West, and Abak Local Government Area in the South. As other Annang speaking Local Government Areas, the people of Ukanafun are of the Annang stock. Crude oil deposits, sand and clay, palm produce and timber are in certain parts. The people are predominantly farmers, traders and hunters.
