Njaba is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Imo state, Nigeria. Its headquarters or capital is in Nnenasa.Njaba Local Government Area was created on 4th February, 1991, during the Federal Military Government regime, headed by General Ibrahim Babangida. It was carved out of Isu Local Government area with headquarters at Umundugba. People of Njaba Local Government Area engage in farming and petty trading.
