Abeokuta North is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Ogun State, Nigeria. It has its headquarters in Akomoje town. The Local Government first came into existence in 1981, as Abeokuta South Local Government, but was later merged the same year to make up the defunct Abeokuta Local Government.
