Ekiti South-West is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Ekiti state, Nigeria. It has its capital/headquarters in a town known as Ilawe Ekiti. The Local Government was created on 1st September, 1976. The major towns that form the council area (Ekiti South-West Local Government) are as follows: Ilawe Ekiti, Igbara-Odo Ekiti, Ogotun Ekiti.
